About the notebook
A notebook about useful arrangements
Desk & Distance collects small, practical ideas about the objects used at home, at a desk and on the way between places.
A deliberately small scale
These pages discuss bags, cables, labels and paper. Their examples concern ordinary household objects and informal routines. There is no claim that a particular arrangement suits every person or room; the useful test is whether the arrangement makes a recurring task easier for its actual user.
Try an ordinary day
A newly arranged desk can look convincing before anyone works at it. Give a small change a normal day of use. Notice what remains within reach, what repeatedly moves and which items have no clear home. Those observations are more useful than a photograph of the first tidy hour.
A simple reading space
The collection consists of local static pages and an illustration. Every article has a short section list and links to nearby readings. You can browse without an account, start at any note and return through the index.
